Steps To Execute

Create a Change Notice
Set an Effectivity Date for the Change Notice to take effect.
Create another Change Notice for the same part number.
Set the Effectivity Date for the newest Change Notice as the same Date as before.

Expected Results

User Should Not Be Able to Have Two BOM Revisions with the Same Effective Date Ranges. The integration should throw an error.
Manual business processes should be followed to identify open work orders, conduct necessary cleanup, and deactivate the erroneous BOM, re-upload the corrected BOM with the same effectivity date as before.
