Steps To Execute
1. Requisitioner uses the Global Search at the top and enters the Purchase Requisition number. 2. Requisitioner hovers over the results and clicks on Edit. 3. Requisitioner reviews the Purchase Requisition and clicks on Save. 4. Requisitioner clicks on the Submit for Approval button. 5. The workflow redirects the buyer as the Next Approver depending on what Purchase Requisition Type is selected. 6. As a buyer, on the home dashboard, hover over the Reminders portlet, click on the three dots, and click on Set Up. A pop-up screen appears. 7. Search for Purchase Requisition to Approve on the left and drag to Headline on the right. 8. Click Save. 9. Hover over the Reminders portlet and click on the refresh icon. 10. Click on Purchase Requisition to Approve. 11. The buyer edits the Purchase Requisition and edits the estimated amount if incorrect. 12. The buyer clicks on the Submit for Approval button. 13. If the total estimated amount on the purchase requisition is less than or equal to the Buyer limit, the workflow redirects the purchase requisition as approved. Otherwise, the workflow redirects the requisitioner's supervisor as the Next Approver. Depending on the total estimated amount, the workflow redirects the role with the highest authority as the Next Approver Role. If the total estimated amount on the purchase requisition is less than or equal to the Supervisor limit, the workflow shows the Approve button to prompt the supervisor to click the approve button. Otherwise, the supervisor edits the purchase requisition and fills out the Select Next Approver, which is filtered by the Next Approver Role. The supervisor saves the record and the approve button appears if the Select Next Approver is filled out. 14. As a supervisor, on the home dashboard, hover over the Reminders portlet, click on the three dots, and click on Set Up. A pop-up screen appears. 15. Search for Purchase Requisition to Approve on the left and drag to Headline on the right. 16. Click Save. 17. Hover over the Reminders portlet and click on the refresh icon. 18. Click on Purchase Requisition to Approve. 19. The supervisor clicks on View. 20. The supervisor clicks the Approve button. 21. As whoever the next approver is, on the home dashboard, hover over the Reminders portlet, click on the three dots, and click on Set Up. A pop-up screen appears. 22. Search for Purchase Requisition to Approve on the left and drag to Headline on the right. 23. Click Save. 24. Hover over the Reminders portlet and click on the refresh icon. 25. Click on Purchase Requisition to Approve. 26. The Next Approver clicks on View. 27. The Next Approver clicks the Approve button.
Expected Results
The Purchase Requisition is approved and a purchase order can be created.
