Kimray - Field Service Technician Kimray - Service Supervisor Kimray - Repair Tech Kimray - Customer Support Specialist Kimray - Customer Support Specialist - Intl Kimray - Sales & Service Manager Assembly Unbuild Process Step 1: Select Unbuild Criteria Select the Location Enter the Item to be unbuilt RF-Smart will Prompt user for the quantity to be unbuilt RF-Smart will Prompt user for the assembly item inventory details Step 2: Inventory Detail Handling For Serialized Items: Prompt for the serial number(s) being unbuilt Bin and inventory status will be pulled from NetSuite based on serial location Users may need to enter multiple serial numbers to match the unbuild quantity For Lot-Controlled Items: Prompt for: Lot# Quantity of that lot Bin where the lot is being unbuilt Inventory Status Users must ensure all entries match the quantity to be unbuilt For Non-Lot / Non-Serial Assemblies: Prompt for: Bin Quantity Inventory Status Quantity must match the unbuild quantity Step 3: Finalize Assembly Unbuild Record After all inventory details are entered, click Done Details will populate the Assembly Unbuild record Enter/select the component bin where unbuilt items will be placed Bins available for selection will be filtered using the flag: Is Unbuild Assembly Bin, ID: custrecord_kr_unbuild_assembly_bin Step 4: Component-Level Detail Entry Prompt user for serial/lot details for each serial or lot controlled component If multiple components require detail: System will prompt for each individually For multiple serials per component: Component stays on screen Each serial must be entered until the required quantity is reached For lot items: Enter quantity If multiple lots, user will be prompted until quantity is fulfilled Step 5: Work Order Component Issue Prompt Prompt: "Do you need to issue components to a work order?" If No: Continue submitting the unbuild Components will be unbuilt to the selected bin If Yes: RF-Smart will Prompt user to enter the Work Order number On submit: If quantity to unbuild > work order quantity, show warning: "The quantity to unbuild is greater than the work order quantity and all components will not be issued to the work order. Do you want to continue or cancel?" Continue: Issue only allowable quantities Cancel: Return to start If no components can be issued, show error: "No components can be issued to this work order. Continue with unbuild?" Continue: Proceed with unbuild without issuing Back: Allow user to enter a different work order Step 6: Issue Logic & Validation After unbuild, if work order issue was selected: Components will be issued based on the BOM linked to the selected work order Already issued components will not be re-issued These components remain in the unbuild bin Kimray will manage adjustments to these components Replacement components must be issued manually before using this function Only components that: Are required Have not already been issued Will be issued from the selected unbuild bin If a component was unbuilt but not required for the selected work order: It will remain in the unbuild bin If serial/lot numbers were entered for unbuild: They will be issued unless previously issued Step 7: Completion Upon successful issue (if applicable), a green success message will confirm completion If no work order issue was needed, this prompt will not appear
Expected Results
Any component that had already been issued to the selected work order will not be issued again, if it would be an over issue to the work order. Those components that could not be issued will remain in the unbuild bin that was used.
