Login as: Kimray - Field Service Technician Kimray - Service Supervisor Kimray - Repair Tech Kimray - Customer Support Specialist Kimray - Customer Support Specialist - Intl Kimray - Sales & Service Manager Assembly Unbuild Process Step 1: Begin Unbuild Select the Location Enter the Item to be unbuilt RF-Smart will Prompt user for the quantity to be unbuilt RF-Smart will Prompt user for assembly item inventory details Step 2: Enter Assembly Inventory Details For Serialized Items: RF-Smart will Prompt for Serial Number(s) Bin and Inventory Status are pulled from NetSuite based on serial location If quantity > 1, user must enter multiple serial numbers For Lot-Controlled Items: RF-Smart will Prompt for: Lot# Quantity Bin Inventory Status Quantity must match the total to be unbuilt For Non-Lot / Non-Serial Assemblies: RF-Smart will Prompt for: Bin Quantity Inventory Status Quantity must match the total to be unbuilt Step 3: Confirm Inventory Header Details Click Done when all inventory details are entered Assembly Unbuild record is populated with the provided information Enter or select the bin to unbuild the component inventory into ?? Important Bin Validation: Do not select a bin in a different location Do not select a bin not flagged as an unbuild bin Valid bins must be flagged with: Is Unbuild Assembly Bin ID: custrecord_kr_unbuild_assembly_bin Step 4: Enter Component-Level Inventory Details Prompt user for Serial/Lot details for each serial- or lot-controlled component Each component is prompted individually If Multiple Serials for One Component: User enters each serial until the required quantity is fulfilled Then prompted for the next component If Lot-Controlled: Enter the lot quantity If multiple lots are needed, system will prompt until quantity is fulfilled Step 5: Issue to Work Order (Optional) Prompt: ?Do you need to issue components to a work order?? If No: Proceed with the unbuild Components are placed in the selected bin No issue to work order occurs If Yes: Prompt user to enter Work Order Number Submit or hit Enter Work Order Validation Logic: If unbuild quantity > work order build quantity, show message: "The quantity to unbuild is greater than the work order quantity. Not all components will be issued. Do you want to continue or cancel?" Continue: Issue allowed quantities Cancel: Restart process If no components can be issued, show message: "No components can be issued to this work order. Continue with unbuild?" Continue: Proceed with unbuild without issuing Back: Enter a different work order If work order status is invalid, user will receive error: "Invalid work order" Skip: Proceed with unbuild, skip component issue Step 6: Submission and Post-Unbuild Logic Upon submit, components are unbuilt and placed into the selected bin If work order was selected, component issuing occurs after unbuild Issuing Logic: Components are issued based on the BOM of the selected work order If a component has already been issued, it will not be issued again Those components remain in the bin they were unbuilt to Remaining eligible components are issued accordingly Additional Rules & Responsibilities Kimray will: Manage adjustments for components not issued Handle replacement component issuance before this process is used Manage transfers or adjustments of residual components All required components that: Haven?t been issued Are needed by the work order Will only be issued from the bin they were unbuilt into If a component was unbuilt but not required, it will remain in the bin If serial/lot numbers were provided, they will be issued ? unless already issued earlier Completion A green success message will confirm the Issue to Work Order was completed If no work order was selected, this prompt will not appear
Expected Results
User will get an error "Invalid Unbuild bin" Will not be able to use the invalid bin.
