Login as: Kimray - Field Service Technician Kimray - Service Supervisor Kimray - Repair Tech Kimray - Customer Support Specialist Kimray - Customer Support Specialist - Intl Kimray - Sales & Service Manager Assembly Unbuild Procedure Step 1: Start Unbuild Select the Location Enter the Item to be unbuilt RF-Smart will Prompt for Quantity to be unbuilt RF-Smart will Prompt for Assembly Item Inventory Details Step 2: Enter Inventory Details For Serialized Items: RF-Smart will Prompt for Serial Number(s) Bin and Inventory Status will be pulled from NetSuite based on serial number User may need to enter multiple serials if quantity > 1 For Lot-Controlled Items: RF-Smart will Prompt for: Lot# Quantity Bin Inventory Status Details must match the quantity to unbuild For Non-Lot / Non-Serial Assemblies: RF-Smart will Prompt for: Bin Quantity Inventory Status Details must match the quantity to unbuild Step 3: Confirm Assembly Unbuild Header After entering all details, user clicks Done The data will populate the Assembly Unbuild Record Step 4: Select Component Bin Enter or Select Bin to place unbuilt components Only bins flagged with Is Unbuild Assembly Bin (ID: custrecord_kr_unbuild_assembly_bin) will appear Do not select: A bin from another location A bin not flagged for unbuild Step 5: Enter Component-Level Serial/Lot Info Prompt for serial/lot details for all components that are serial or lot controlled If multiple component items require detail, each is prompted individually If Serial Controlled: RF-Smart will Prompt for one serial at a time until required quantity is entered RF-Smart will Then prompt for the next item If Lot Controlled: Enter lot quantity If multiple lots needed, system prompts again until full quantity is fulfilled Step 6: Submit Unbuild User clicks Submit after verifying and entering all component details NetSuite creates the Unbuild Transaction A green success message confirms completion ?? Note: Components may auto-commit to backordered work orders. This may include the one being issued to or another. Optional: Issue Components to a Work Order RF-Smart will Prompt: ?Do you need to issue components to a work order?? If No: Continue with submission Components are placed in the selected bin Work order step is skipped If Yes: RF-Smart will Prompt for the Work Order Number Enter number and press Enter or Submit Validation Checks: Invalid Work Order Status: If the work order is unreleased, contains backordered components, or components aren?t committed: User receives: ?Invalid status? Speak with team lead to validate or release the order Unbuild Quantity > Work Order Quantity: Show warning: ?The quantity to unbuild is greater than the work order quantity and all components will not be issued. Do you want to continue or cancel?? Continue: Issue allowed quantities Cancel: Restart the process No Components Eligible for Issue: Error: ?No components can be issued to this work order? Continue: Unbuild without issuing Back: Re-enter a different work order Final Submission Logic: Upon submission: All components are unbuilt to the selected bin If a work order was selected, component issue occurs after the unbuild process Issuance Logic Components are issued based on the BOM of the selected work order Already issued components will not be re-issued These remain in the selected unbuild bin Business Rules & Kimray Responsibilities Kimray will: Adjust out unneeded components remaining in the bin Issue replacement components (if needed) before using this function Manage transfers and inventory adjustments as needed Only components: Required by the work order Not already issued Will be issued from the selected bin they were unbuilt to Unbuilt components not needed by the work order will remain in the bin If serial or lot numbers were entered: They will be issued, unless already issued prior to this unbuild Completion Message A green success message confirms when components have been successfully issued to the work order If no issue was performed, this prompt is skipped
Expected Results
The Unbuild transaction was completed before the user was prompted with do you need to issue components to a work order. Green success message to indicate the unbuild transaction was done. components were committed to the work order after the unbuild. User was prompted if they need to issue components to a work order. The selected work order was able to have components issued to it.
