GL Impact For each component issued the Item's Inventory Account (130140 INVPURCHASED PARTS) is credited at standard cost For each component issued the Assembly's WIP account (130189) is debited at standard cost. Work Order Completion Using the Global search open WO1301 Click on the related records tab. Click on the link for the associated Work Order Completions WCO288 and WCO289 WCO288 Take note of the following: Completed Qty = 0This completion was entered to capture time only. Operations subtab ; Labor Run Time (Minutes) 1. 36 minutes of time captured 130189 WIP is debited 520120 Absorption : Applied Labor is credited WCO289 Take note of the following: Completed Qty = 1Due to this completion quantity we should expect inventory movement from WIP to Finished Goods 130160 INV FINISHED GOODS is debited based on the current standard cost of the Assembly 130189 WIP is credited as the offset NOTE: It is possible that the current standard cost of the assembly does not equal the sum of all component standard costs possibly due to not performing a recent cost rollup/revaluation. In this case we would see a large imbalance in the WIP account at this stage. Operations subtab ; Labor Run Time (Minutes)0. 89 minutes of time captured 130189 WIP is debited 520120 Absorption : Applied Labor is credited
