Prerequisites
1. Existing customer record with Email communication preference set to true
Steps To Execute
1. Create a Credit memo from an open invoice for a customer that has email communication preference selected. a. Create the credit memo for less than $1 and leave unapplied, or b. Create the credit memo and and only apply a portion, leaving a remaining unapplied balance of less than $1. 2. Once all small penny test transactions are complete, Kimray IT will need to manually kick off a script deployment of the Small Penny Write-Off - MR script. 1. Create a standalone Invoice for a customer that has email communication preference selected. a. Create the invoice for less than $1, or b. Create the invoice and apply a payment, leaving a remaining balance of less than $1. 2. Once all small penny test transactions are complete, Kimray IT will need to manually kick off a script deployment of the Small Penny Write-Off - MR script.
Expected Results
- A credit memo should be generated for the remaining balance, and applied to the invoice. - The credit memo should be set with the Small Penny Write-Off Item. - The credit memo GL Impact should consist of a Debit to 5100 610280 Operating Expenses Miscellaneous and a credit to 0000 120000 Accounts Receivable of an amount equal to the remaining balance of the Invoice. - There should be no message on the Credit Memo communication tab nor the Customer record communication tab. - The small penny write-off checkbox should be checked
